Adams Smith Consulting are a young and dynamic consultancy who can offer a range of Services to clients from both the private and public sector.

We can cover the entire spectrum of duties, roles and responsibilities, starting from Concept and going right through to the Completion of your construction project.

We comprise only senior experienced construction professionals. Our Principals are active in the day to day operation of the business and directly accessible to our clients.

Our services can extend from design, through costing, to the management and delivery of your project, up to and beyond the occupation of your scheme - our flexibility allows you to choose the services that suit your needs.

About Our Principals...

David Adams...

David's early years in the Industry were spent with a national company engaged in civil engineering projects.

He then moved into the private sector and became responsible for the engineering aspects of schemes for a developer on a regional basis.

Subsequently, he assumed responsibility for setting up and leading a Consultancy in the North of England which provided a specialist engineering and design service.

In recent years, he has held senior positions with national Developers working on a variety of schemes including mixed use, with accountability to both Regional and Main Boards for technical and engineering issues.

Alwyn Smith...

Alwyn spent his early career with a regional general Contractor engaged primarily on Local Authority works  prior to moving to a specialist Building contractor at the forefront of system building and pre-fabricated construction. Subsequently he joined a commercial and residential developer which was active at various levels of the Housing, Warehouse and Office markets.

Subsequently, he has represented both public and private sector organisations in the capacity of project manager / client representative and has knowledge of a variety of schemes including Leisure and Retail.

He has gained a breadth of experience across the Client - Consultant - Contractor spectrum which gives a great understanding and authority on all stages of scheme inception, procurement and delivery.
